    Lincoln’s training programs emphasize hands-on, interactive learning activities wherever possible, and our instructors possess a combination of teaching experience, subject matter expertise and applied real world experience. Lincoln offers Day, Afternoon and Evening courses to accommodate your busy schedule.

    Lincoln Technical Institute operates 22 campuses nationwide, including five schools in Connecticut, two in Florida, three in Massachusetts, six in New Jersey, one in New York, four in Pennsylvania, and one in Rhode Island.

    Financial Aid is available for those who qualify and Career Placement Assistance is available upon graduation. Depending upon program area, Lincoln training programs prepare students to sit for desirable industry certification exams.

    Lincoln College of Technology campuses are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) depending upon campus location. Programs vary by campus.

    Lincoln Technical Institute's Automotive Technology training brings today's technology to your hands. You will learn to be your best in our modern Automotive Technology facility. Baran students train on all aspects of the vehicle from fuels to engine rebuilding. While others train on mock-ups and simulators, Baran students train on "live" problem vehicles for proven results that show in today's dealerships.

    Learning Culinary Arts is more than following recipes; it's mastering new techniques, tasting new ingredients, and perfecting your skills. Our Culinary Arts Programs offer a broad array of culinary theory and practical experiences necessary for success in the food service industry. All courses emphasize activities with extensive periods of hands-on practical experience in professionally equipped culinary laboratories. At our culinary campuses, students who are passionate about cooking get comprehensive Culinary training including French Cuisine, Asian, Mediterranean, Latin and World Cuisines, baking and pastry and even kitchen and restaurant management.

     

    Lincoln Technical Institute's Diesel Technology Program puts a whole new meaning to the words "HANDS ON". Baran's students are involved in all aspects of the diesel industry -- from hydraulics to major overhauls on today's leaders like Cummins, Mack, Detroit and CAT. It's a comprehensive program that delivers a variety of career options, upon program completion and apprenticeship and licensing if applicable in your state. If a career in electricity sparks your interest, Baran will give you the energy and skills to succeed. The Possibilities Are Endless - What gives you a charge? How about becoming an Electrician in a residential, commercial or industrial setting? With Lincoln Tech, not only will you receive classroom hours, you can get part of the on-the-job-training requirements for your E-2 license. Our Electrician program has what you need to get started in the trade. And where can you see yourself after you get your license? Freedom, independence and maybe even owning your own company.

Rather than guessing at the weather, you can be the one that's skilled enough to always get it right, using the available technology at your reach. With Diploma programs available, we can give you the skills you need to make the world a more comfortable place.

    As an Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Technician, you will learn to install, maintain and repair essential temperature control equipment found in today's homes and businesses. Whatever the climate, wherever the place, there is a need for proficient HVAC technicians and service professionals.

     

    Climate control is a hot field if you've got the training. Lincoln's HVAC/R Technology Program training takes you through everything from electrical to plumbing to trouble shooting today's commercial and domestic heating refrigeration/cooling units. Fire up your future with an education in HVAC/R .

    Graduates are qualified as entry-level gas heating technicians, oil burner technicians, residential refrigeration and commercial refrigeration technicians who can work for local companies that install and maintain oil furnaces, gas furnaces and both residential and commercial air conditioning systems. Once licensed, you may decide to open and operate your own business.

    Healthcare is an exciting and growing field with a need for caring and patient individuals. With our Diploma Medical Assisting programs, you can develop the perfect combination of knowledge, hands-on skills and patient care. By developing patient relationships and lending your expertise, you can not only help doctors and caregivers, you can help lift a patient's spirits. You can get you started in this highly respected career by building the necessary communication and professional skills that are essential to the medical field. By preparing you to interact directly with patients and caregivers, you'll then be able to learn the skills necessary to provide them with administrative assistance, conduct laboratory work, and administer clinical care.

    Because certain skills are better learned by doing, our Medical Assistant program provides a true sense of working in the medical field. In our Doctor's Office Classroom (DOC), you will have the opportunity to work in a simulated real-life environment. In this setting, students will be able to assume the roles of office personnel and patients while performing tests and practicing the skills that will be needed on the job. From taking medical histories to operating medical equipment and collecting and preparing lab specimens, you can receive invaluable practical training and experience prior to your employment in the Healthcare field.

     

    You can become a Nurse by learning to extend comfort and care to patients in sickness and in health. Our team of nursing instructors leads you through a comprehensive curriculum including extended care, maternity and child development, geriatrics, and gerontology.

    Your clinical rotations start in your first module and include long-term care facilities, sub-acute facilities and hospitals too. When you graduate, you can be qualified and prepared to sit for the Practical Nursing Licensing Exam.
